Fall parent conferences are this week. Parent-teacher conferences are an important opportunity for parents and teachers to collaborate and discuss a child’s progress in school. These meetings provide valuable insights into a student’s academic performance, behavior, and social development, helping parents understand their child’s strengths and areas of growth. Please be sure to take a look at the revised schedule below for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as a result of the time needed for conferences.
Please take a moment to look at our other upcoming events:
3rd Grade Parents:
Please sign up for the PTO's 3rd Grade Family Fun event - a Parent/Child Kickball Tournament with a food truck, music, and ball-park style treats! This is the family fun event for 3rd grade this year, so you're not going to want to miss it! November 9, 2-4 pm! Sign up here: https://wispto.
Veterans Day Drive:
The fifth grade student council members are kicking off a school-wide November fundraiser for Homes for the Brave, an organization in Bridgeport which supports our veterans and service people. The students chose this fundraiser as it aligns perfectly with Veterans Day.
Starting Monday, November 4, we are collecting donations of needed items. The collection will continue until Friday, the 15th. Bins will be in the entrance of the school building.
Specific needs we are collecting are Paper Goods:
paper plates
napkins
plastic utensils

This contest encourages participants to design billboards that promote recycling and sustainability, raising awareness in our communities about the importance of environmental responsibility.
