As we celebrate this season of gratitude, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our WIS families for your unwavering support and dedication to our school and children. As Thanksgiving is a time that reminds us to appreciate what we have and to thank the people who make our lives better, I am especially thankful to our amazing parent community and the strong partnership we have between teachers, families, and staff. Together we make our school a special place, and I am grateful to be able to work with all of you.
Marking period information:
Tuesday marks the end of our first trimester. For students in third grade they will have finished their trimester of MakerTech and will be switching to Health, and fifth graders will be moving from Health to MakerTech. The first progress report will be released in Powerschool on December 13.
Picture Retake Day:
Picture Retake day is Monday, December 2. There is no need to sign-up, students should just come to school “picture ready” and let their teacher know that they’d like a retake. Students who want to have their picture taken will be called down by grade-level.
Weston Cheer Team:
Congratulations to our D10 Weston Cheer Team! They made it to the Nationals in Florida. This is an amazing accomplishment! The team has been working hard all season and as a result, 24 fourth and fifth graders will be traveling to Florida next week to compete in the national competition. We are so proud of them and wish them the best of luck!

December 20: Early dismissal, 12:35 p.m.
December 23-January 1: School closed for Winter break

Schools will be closed on Wednesday, November 27 for the start of the Thanksgiving recess and will resume on Monday, December 2.
