Weekly Family Update!

Posted Date: 01/28/2025

January 26, 2025

Dear WIS Families,

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. A good time was had at our school Bingo Night Friday evening. It was so nice to see so many attend for a fun night of bingo and pizza, despite this cold weather. Thank you to the PTO for putting this event together.

It’s amazing how quickly this month has flown by! As we eagerly await February, be sure to check out the important dates listed at the bottom of this email so you don’t miss any exciting events ahead.

Thursday's evacuation at the high school highlighted the importance of our safety and security protocols. Our staff remained dedicated to maintaining a normal school day, ensuring that students remained unaware of the events outside of school. We are fortunate to have such a caring and committed staff and I am grateful for their dedication to our students and families. I want to take this opportunity to thank our families for their trust and cooperation with our procedures.  Ensuring that our students feel safe and secure at school remains our top priority.
